Limited Company
Accounts
Year-end statutory accounts, corporation tax and Companies House filings, prepared accurately and filed on time, every time.
What's included
Every limited company in the UK must prepare and file statutory accounts with Companies House and a corporation tax return with HMRC each year. Getting these right is essential, errors or late filing attract penalties and can damage your company's standing.
At Claritax, we handle the entire process from start to finish. We work with your records throughout the year so there are no last-minute scrambles, and you always know exactly what your tax liability will be before the deadline arrives.

- Companies House annual accounts submission
- Confirmation statement (annual return) filing

Who this is for
Our limited company accounting service is designed for UK-registered private limited companies (Ltd) of all sizes, from newly incorporated companies to established businesses with multiple directors and employees.
Whether you're a sole director running a consultancy, a growing e-commerce business, or a professional services firm, we have the experience to handle your accounts correctly and efficiently.
Our approach
Unlike some accountants who only appear once a year to collect your paperwork, we stay in touch throughout the year. This means we can flag tax-saving opportunities as they arise, not months after they've passed.
We use cloud accounting software (compatible with Xero, QuickBooks, and FreeAgent) to keep your books accurate in real time, and we'll review your numbers quarterly so there are never any surprises at year-end.
Deadlines you need to know

We track all of your deadlines and will never let a filing slip through the net.

Frequently asked questions
What's the deadline for filing limited company accounts?
Companies House accounts are due 9 months after your financial year-end, and your corporation tax return is due 12 months after year-end, though the tax itself must be paid 9 months and 1 day after year-end, earlier than the filing deadlines.
What happens if I file my accounts late?
Companies House charges automatic penalties starting at £150 for accounts up to 1 month late, rising to £1,500 for accounts more than 12 months late, and the penalty doubles if you were also late the previous year. See our late filing penalty calculator for exact figures.
Do you work with first-time limited company directors?
Yes, a large part of our client base is directors in their first year of trading. We explain each deadline and requirement in plain English as it comes up, so you are never caught out by something you did not know applied to you.
What software do you use for limited company accounts?
We work with Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent, and can advise on which suits your business if you are not already using one. Cloud accounting keeps your records accurate throughout the year, not just at year-end.
Is the £95 a month fee genuinely all-inclusive?
Yes. Your statutory accounts, corporation tax return, Companies House filings, confirmation statement and unlimited phone and email support are all included. The only extras are add-ons you choose, like payroll for additional employees or one-off catch-up work.
